UK: David Icke at Bilderberg -

English writer and former professional football player David Icke addressed a large crowd of protesters at the Bilderberg Group meeting in Watford, UK on Saturday. According to Icke it is time for the human race "to get off its knees."


In his speech Icke highlights the influence of the annual Bilderberg meeting on the European Union. "We have a European Union, centralised bureaucratic dictatorship, thanks to the Bilderberg group and its manipulation over decades."

Icke also explains how the secretive meeting, in his eyes, has instigated the Arab Spring. "I will tell you what the Arab Spring is in one single sentence: people with brown faces being played off against people with brown faces so that people with white faces can steal their land. That's what it is about!"

Anti-Bilderberg protests continue to rock the rural English town of Watford as members of the global corporate and political elite gather in Hertfordshire. Around 140 powerful and wealthy participants from 21 European and North American countries are attending the secretive four-day meeting, held between June 6 and June 9. Founded in 1954, Bilderberg is an annual conference designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America.
